How many volunteers from Canada served in the US military, during the Viet Nam War period ?

The North Wall, that names the Canadians that died in US military service in Viet Nam, has 105 names on it. It is located in Windsor, Ontario, just across the Detroit river, in Canada. How many Canadians in total, volunteered to serve in the US forces during the period from 1964 to 1972 ? Jim B. Toronto.

    Over 5000 I believe the number was. (4900?)

    There has been a lot of discussion and controversy over this question. Some Vietnam veterans had dual US and Canadian citizenship. How do you count them?

    It comes to the conclusion that the total would be about 4,000.
